TONIGHT'S LINEUP

Tonight's lineup is brought to you by Mark Mulder;

Quality left-handed starting pitching, you can never get enough.

LINEUP
Oakland 7-3 VS Anaheim 6-5
Kotsay CF --- Eckstein SS
Kielty LF --- Erstad 1B
Chavez 3B --- Guerrero RF
Dye RF --- Anderson CF
Karros 1B --- Glaus 3B
Durazo DH --- Guillen RF
Crosby SS --- Salmon DH
Miller C --- Molina B C
Scutaro 2B --- Kennedy 2B
Mulder SP --- Washburn SP

The elongated meeting at home plate during lineup exchanges tonight was Angels' manager Mike Scoscia bitching about the A's pitchers being on one side of the pitching rubber or the other. The Rule Book states the pitcher has to be in full contact with the pitching rubber. But that can mean many things. The rule has never been enforced as middle of the rubber. If so, why have the rubber that long? The suggestion to bitch came down from Angel's GM Bill Stoneman.
