The Bay Bridge Series is upon us. Expect a war. Barry Bonds is frothing at the mouth and the A's received a huge boost from the trade yesterday.
The A's are advising fans to use BART as all three gamea are expected to be sellouts.
Warning to A's fans; We've been writing this for two years - the chant is,
Let's - Go - A's
"Let's go OAK-LAND" is the same 8 clap "Let's Go Yan-kees", "Let's Go Red Sox" cheer.
Several video games even incorporated the "Let's GO A's" chant into the background of in-game action. Why a few people who have been to too many high school basketball games have to start the "Let's Go OAK-Land" chant and then rile up all the sheep to do the wave is beyond comprehension.
Further, said chant should only be done when the A's are at bat. When the A's are pitching, where can they go? They are in the field? That's when fans shold just be making noise in general - you know, rooting on the home team?
