Comments:

I *heart* Jimmy Shull.

Kid's fantastic.

Know what? In general I enjoy your site and tolerate the occasional blather about the minors, but lately having even more emphasis on the minor league teams and players is getting a bit much. I couldn't give a crap. Tell me all about 'em when they get to Oakland.

I know, I know:
1. It's Zach's blog.
2. He can do what he wants.
3. I suck.
4. If I don't like it I can just...
5. If I don't like it I don't have to....

Thanks for listening. I feel better now.

With due respect, Ed, I have been to a few minor league games with Zach and his eyes light up when you talk about these guys. It's all about potential and hope.

The big problem is that if Zach talks about any A's player and has the audacity to question the A's at all, he's a negative jerk.

It's a fine line.

Does anyone got any info about the Rivercats webcasts? Like are they webacasting every home game now? What's the rhyme or reason in regards to which games they are webcasting and which they aren't? Its free at the moment although I think they are charging after April unfortunately.

I think this is the next step for this blog - to be a one stop shop for A's info, opinion and blather.

I saw on the main page thing that there's an entry for history. That is something I'd really like to play around with.

I mean that MLB.crap stuff is sickening. They are corporate sites and that other website (that isn't a blog) is just a money-making scam by a Red Sox fan with an A's hat and a shit-eating grin.

Like getting a company newsletter as a former employee from Enron.

I'd rather not have RSS' up the ass. And I'd like someone I trust who is not going to be blowing smoke up my ass about the A's. Show me links to articles I should think about and challenge me as a fan to think about where I drop my cash.

Ken Macha isn't even a good manager. Just because the captain goes down with the ship, the sonuvabitch still sunk the damn thing.

Damn, that's funny. Real funny.

NJ I think the Rivercats are available free as a radio broadcast you can get there through the River Cats website.

I'm not sure of another webcast.

If you mean Gameday, you can get those free from MinorLeagueBaseball.com just like mlb.com.

Zak - is there a membership for minorleaguebaseball.com?

I love the minor-league stuff. Zach's coverage runs circles around just about any other serious A's blog, including the WAAAAAYYYYYYY overrated Athletics Nation (aka Asslickers Nation, the Billy Beane Propaganda Blog.)

Keep at it, Zach!

Minorleaguebaseball.com has been having video webcasts of Rivercats game this week but not tonight. I think maybe that they are webcasting all the Cats home games and any that take place in stadiums that have an inhouse video system set up, cause I think they showed a few when the Rivercats were in Tacoma but apparently aren't now that they're in the Las Vegas 51's ballpark. All this is just guesses based on what they've been doing so far.

I think they're going to start charging for it in May though, although a lot cheaper than for their MLB.tv package. However, since they haven't really made it clear how many of each team's games they are going to webcasting it seems like a sketchy deal. I really hope this doesn't mean that the radio webcasts are going pay to listen too.
