ED NOTE: Win 11 of the 20 Game Winning Streak.

On the radio broadcast last night Ken Korach mentioned to Bill King, kind of in passing, that Jose Lima had the most lackadaisical warm up he had ever seen.

As Lima was exiting the mound in the 3rd he was booed heartily by his own fans. Ray Fosse mentioned the grin on Lima's face kind of said, "boo all you want, I'm stealing your money."

Lima was his typical horrible self and the A's took advantage.

Ray Durham led off the game with a double and the A's, as a reflection of thei rcurrent hot streak, didn't let the opportunity pass. Scott Hatteberg hit a sacrafice fly to center to score the first run of twelve on the day. Miguel Tejada doubled to right center. Eric Chavez lined out to first. Jermaine Dye singled to center, Tejada scored. David Justice
homered to right, scoring Dye. Mark Ellis grounded out to shortstop to end the A's top of the 1st.

The A's added a three run Jimmy Jack by Eric Chavez in the 2nd and a Terrence Long solo shot in the 8th.

Tim Hudson didn't look sharp at all. It took until Randall Simon's homerun in the 3rd to get Huddy locked in. Hudson set the next eleven Tigers down in order. The Tigers helped the A's out by going to the plate hacking and Hudson kept the ball down resulting in a lot of quick outs.
