Mark Mulder and the A's went out on a mission Saturday evening and battled for a 2-0 win against the Twins.
- The Twins lost to Seattle on August 29th 2-0.
- The A's lost to Minnesota on Friday night 6-0.
- The A's beat Minnesota on Saturday 2-0.
That's never happened before in the Homerdome. There have never been three consecutive shutouts at HHH.
Mark Mulder is the ace of the A's staff and it's easy to overlook him as Barry Zito is for all purposes a media-magnet and Tim Hudson has been up since 1999 and was the first of the group to win 20 games.
The A's are back in the saddle and are eyeing a successful road trip to put the AL West away early.
ED NOTE: The A's beat the Twins on Sunday 6-0, so, 4 consecutive shutouts.
