The A's left the Twins' Cities with Some Baggage, But Lightened Load
The Oakland A's didn't trample the Minnesota Twins yesterday, but it sounded like 40,000 people had witnessed the preface to a horrendous accident. If the playoffs are the target, the A's and Twins are at both lined up for the bullseye. It's just a matter of who blinks first. With Bobby Kielty's strike-out in the 4th inning, the Twins gave a hint that they were twinging.
It's a long way to October, and yet, it's only three weeks away.
